I'm 20 years old, I have been homeschooled for most of my life, I live in Southern California; my main passion is musical theatre, I love literature, web design, cats, non-musical theatre, non-theatrical music, linguistics & etymology, history (the older, the better, not so knowledgeable about anything from the last century or so), wordplay, puns, YOUR MOM, fantasy/sci-fi, and, I don't know, lots more. But I guess that's what the INTERESTS section is for, eh?
If you friend me, I'll friend you. That almost never happens, actually. But just the same.
I wanted to be poetic. Insert vague symbolicky pun about heroine addiction here. Tragedy, comedy, something of the theatrical variety; the opposite of people.
Just the facts, lady.
There's something I feel is more important than these--- Favourite poets. I like Yeats, I like Shakespeare, I like Rumi and Khayyam and Tahirih, and also T.S. Eliot and Sharon Olds and my big sister. Favourite historical eras: Napoleonic Wars ftw? I'm fond of the 19th century, with a quick dip into ancient Greece and a brief, flirtatious frolic through the Renaissance. Influential writers/movies/artists-- Lolita, and all of Nabokov's work; Chekhov, Wilde, Sondheim, Gilbert & Sullivan, Ray Bradbury, Victor Hugo, Agatha Christie, Lloyd Alexander, Tad Williams, Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, The Road to Perdition, Sunset Boulevard, that one watercolour by Turner, Rostand, Shakespeare, tragedies abound, I've been through this before, I think I've seen this face before.
